Things I've learned so far in 2012:
- A casual last-minute hangout with friends on New Year's is way more fun than any of the overpriced special events I've been to in the past
- Sprout is still terrified of fireworks & firecrackers (didn't like them at Hallowe'en, hasn't gotten over it yet)
- A shot glass makes a great water cup for a toddler
- If you leave your gloves behind on transit, don't even try to find them at the Lost Property office: they just throw them away for health reasons.
