Exercise Challenge: Month 2, Day 2
The three of us biked to Granville Island & back to see The Itch of the Golden Nit early this evening. Fairly brisk ride on the way there, as we were a bit behind schedule; more leisurely on the way back, with a stop for sushi near home. We'll call it 50 minutes of exercise in total.
I'm so happy to be biking regularly again. It's usually faster than transit & a lot less stressful because we just leave when we're ready. No rushing or waiting for buses. Compared to using a Modo car it's a lot easier because Sprout's seat is usually on my bike--installing a car seat in the Modo vehicle each time is a bit of a pain. Plus, Sprout loves biking. AND it's essentially free--no insurance or gas, no transit fares. :)
This week's total is now up to 125 minutes. Right on track: an average of 30 minutes a day. Woot!
